This bridge is very much like its neighbor around the corner on OK 51 across Otter Creek.
Built in 1948, this bridge features a standard 100' pony truss with four steel stringer approaches to the north and a single to the south. The familiar concrete "fence" rails have been discarded in a misguided effort to give this bridge a facelift. The silver paint on the truss span looks like it may only be a couple of decades old. This bridge has a wide deck with more than ample room for its twin 12' driving lanes.
