Here we see OK 51 crossing Otter Creek on a bridge that was built in 1948 The approach span guards have been remodeled, but otherwise it is much as it would have been when it went into service. The photo below should cast aside all doubts of the 100' pony span's strength, seen here with a wide, heavy load.
