Old US 266 Deep Fork River Bridge, Okmulgee Co.

Built in 1933 and bypassed in 2007, this bridge has an overall length of 395 feet, and features a state-standard 210-foot Parker-K truss through span. This bridge was built by Pharoah & Co. of Henryetta Oklahoma, and stands several miles east of Henryetta. The above photo looks east through the bridge. We are grateful that this bridge was not demolished upon completion of the new bridge.

Below, the 210-foot riveted Parker-K truss. This type was used for 3 decades in Oklahoma.

Above, a side view of the truss span looking south. Below, another close-up view of the truss span.

Above, a view looking through the portal. Note the double lacing in the endposts and upper cords. Below, remains of piers from an earlier bridge at this location.
