Otoe Creek BNSF (Old Frisco) RR Bridge, Noble Co.

Above and below, located in close proximity to the Maverick Road Otoe Creek Bridge (they are probably only 1/4 mile apart) stands this 5-panel Pratt pony span with approach trestle. As you can see by the plaque, below, it was built in 1904 by the Midland Bridge Co., of Kansas City, Mo.

Above and below, two views of the bridge looking west. The approach trestle is only on the east end. 105 years ago this bridge was built by the St. Louis-San Francisco Railroad as part of their line connecting Tulsa to Enid, via Perry. It is nice to see it still giving service, as this is a heavily used line.
