Cane Creek Bridge, Muskogee County

This 90-foot riveted Parker pony truss was built in 1911 by the Muskogee Iron Works, of Muskogee, Oklahoma. It features a wooden deck and a concrete approach span. Total length of the bridge is 118 feet. The above view is looking through the bridge. You can see the ghost of a builder's plaque and the approach at the far end.

Below, the Lackawanna Steel mark on one of the channels. Like a great number of other companies, Muskogee Iron Works was a fabricator who bought raw materials from the great mills of the US.

Above, the steel truss span as viewed from the approach. Below, detail view of the truss.
