The bridge you see in the photos above and below was built in 1940 by Glenn E. Bras. It consists of six 100-foot pony truss spans and steel stringer approaches of undetermined length. This bridge is located a few miles downstream of the Grand Lake of the Cherokees dam. Although it looks white in the photos, the actual color of the bridge is a light blue. All the concrete work on the bridge is original and in excellent condition. Overall, the bridge is in good shape and sees a lot of recreational traffic.
