
Moved to this location circa 1930, this bridge represents a typical turn-of-the-century bridge built in an eastern fashion.
Hopefully time will afford us the opportunity to get some better pictures of this unique structure in better light. This bridge is located a few miles southeast of Gypsy in southwestern Creek County. It is pin connected, and about 110' in length.
Note the the vertical tension rods in the end panels.

Below, a connection detail. A U-bolt attaches the floor beams to the pins, a very popular method of making such a connection in the late 19th century.
