Above and below are four photos of a sturdy thru Pratt span across the Deep Fork River. This bridge is 100 feet long and although it looks like it has a rough past (see bottom photo and commentary), is still passing heavier traffic with its 11 ton weight limit and nice concrete deck.
We spent quite a time pondering what did this damage. The lower is very beat up, the curb on the deck has a chunk missing, and a length of guard has been replaced. Although much of the damage elsewhere to the underside of the bridge we could point to debris in moving high water, this bite could have only come from a vehicle falling off the side. At least we think Ouch!!
