
This fine
two-span riveted Parker truss bridge spans the Caney River in northern Osage
County. In fact, it is only about a mile or so south of the Oklahoma-Kansas
State line. Built in 1948, this bridge is unique for its late 1920's styling. It
is unfortunate that more bridges couldn't have been built with such substantial
plaques.

Above is a diagonal side shot of one of the spans. the spans are 160 feet in length with all-concrete approaches pf unmeasured length. These spans seem to be in very good condition and see only light use.
