OK33/US 270 North Canadian River, Blaine Co.

This bridge was built in 1937, and carries OK 33 and US 270 across the North Canadian River in Blaine Co. The deck on this bridge is very new.

The bridge consists of eight 100 foot long pony truss spans. Although they look like they could use some paint, all spans are in good shape. A shield shaped plaque was once mounted on the concrete wing posts at both ends of the bridge, and probably told the bridge's F.A.P number and length in miles. This bridge now serves only eastbound traffic. A bridge for westbound traffic sit along side it and was probably built in the 1990's.
