Above and below are photographs of a 100-foot riveted steel modified Pratt through truss span with very short concrete approaches over Salt Creek in northeastern Wagoner County. This bridge is located just south of old OK 33 on Coweta Road, west of the Verdigris River.
Records give a date of 1940 for this bridge, though many of its design features are more typical of those built in the 1920's. This example is in particularly good condition and has its original concrete deck, portals with curved knee-braces and lattice guard rails. The concrete work on the approach spans look very new.
