Old OK 18 Salt Creek, Pottawatomie County

Built in 1930, these two 120-foot long OSHC standard design Pratt spans cross Salt Creek just north of Pearson. The above photo shows the south end of the bridge.

As you can see by the photo above, nature has taken a strong liking to the northern span.

Above, looking south thru the bridge, we can see the dense brush that has covered the north span. A return visit to the bridge in the summer will probably find this span feeling like a tunnel.
