US 77 Bridge across Red Rock Creek, Noble Co.

This 100-foot span carries US highway 77 across Red Rock Creek between Perry and Tonkawa. The bridge was built in 1926 and has had its curved knee-braces in the portal corners chopped out. The bridge is a wide one lane bridge. The deck is about 18 feet wide. This type of bridge, which is a modified Pratt was a favorite of the state highway engineer from 1921 to about 1930.

The bridge also features a steel stringer approach at each end. These approaches are each about 30 feet in length and feature the popular concrete 'fence' rails from that era.
