Little Polecat Creek, Creek County

Records give a date of 1942 for this 50-foot riveted Warren pony. The span is visible from Route 66's bridge over the same creek. An interesting feature, and part of the bridge's sub structure, is a low-water dam located just upstream of the bridge, as shown below. This bridge makes prominent use of lacing bars in its members. The bridge has a concrete deck.
